China has been dancing for 20 years, starting her training in CSTD ballet, tap, jazz, as well as contemporary and hip hop from a young age. Joining the internationally renowned and award-winning hip-hop dance company ‘The Home Base’ in 2018, China loves training and performing hip-hop dance and its various styles. She has had the opportunity to compete at World of Dance, Danchella, World Supremacy Battlegrounds, Australia’s Dance Crew Championships, and travel to New Zealand for the Home Base Show Tour in 2022. She has also choreographed and danced for various local artists in Brisbane and danced in numerous streetwear campaigns.
China received her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Clinical Health) degree in 2022-23 and when she isn’t training, performing, or teaching, she works as a physiotherapy assistant for children and teenagers. She is currently studying to become a physiotherapist and ultimately aims to equip performing artists and athletes with the necessary tools to excel in their careers whilst taking care of their holistic health. She is passionate about sharing with others the knowledge and skills she has accumulated through dance and study and is especially passionate about educating and training the next generation of up-and-coming dancers.
