Laylah’s passion for dance began in Year 5 and 6 when she completed a Certificate I in Dance and Movement. Throughout high school, she trained in jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and lyrical, further developing her skills and versatility. She spent several years training at the Studio of Performing Arts (SOPA) and was also part of The Academy’s Junior Varsity Academy (JVA) crew. Laylah has successfully completed three Hip Hop exams at SOPA, earning honours, honours plus, and honours distinction. Her dedication to excellence qualified her for the ATOD State Championships, where she proudly placed 2nd.
